I enjoy documentary photos, photojournalism, trying to show the world around us as it is. All the studio photography with perfect light, perfect background and gazillion hours spent editing photography is definitely not my thing.
I come from Riga and lived all my life here.
I never thought I would end up in a photography. Bought my first camera in September 2008, never attended any classes. I just go out on a street and shoot. I believe, that the world around us is so overwhelmingly interesting, every person is unique, and every second there are thousands of exciting stories happening, just waiting to be told. I try to tell my audience about something, that they never could`ve known about otherwise.
I don`t have any favorite techniques, since I don`t know any. Is taking a picture of unaware person and smiling to him, if get caught, a technique?
I get inspired by the world around me. Life is just too amazing, to miss any of it!
