High school year 11 at the moment. No professional education.

Was born on August 30 in 1993 (rainy Monday, as my mama said) in Latvia, Liepaja.
I started drawing and painting at the age of five or so as my mother took me to an art studio. My teacher kept marveling at my abilities but at that time I didn’t give a damn-I was a child and I just enjoyed painting. A few years later my teacher died and I remember that day clearly, I remember being in the studio at the moment of that fatal epileptic seizure. After that I kept on studying myself at home- I started using acrylic on cardboard. I consider myself mostly an autodidact, because I am impossible to teach I never believe anything until I don’t find it enough convincing and prove it myself.

I prefer traditional art, I admire skilled masters and academic technique. I love big canvas, hard work, analyzing, building and mathematical calculations. I love studying and developing. I also love to involve tons of thoughts, memories, emotions and signs into my works, although most of them come spontaneously directly during the work. What I like the most is people and characters, all the rest is built around a a person or a particular character. I also consider myself as a portrait painter-it is what I am going to do my whole life.
At the moment I keep studying anatomy, drawing (which is not as good as painting yet) and painting. I would like to spend more of the time creating new artworks, but I am only 17 and school takes a lot of time and energy. I also have an unofficial business-I sell handpainted shirts and now it is quite successful, although I am not really into this job. But no frown, I do it all to become completely independed and respected artist in the future.

Inspiration: Human’s great mind, thoughts, characters (especially movie characters), rainy weather, memories, impressions and not to mention Love.
